2025 Candidates Survey

Survey results and BWOP’s rankings.

Bike Walk Oak Park conducted a survey of the two candidates for Village President and five candidates for Village Trustee. Survey questions addressed the candidates’ mobility choices, current bike/walk infrastructure and potential improvements, Vision Zero, and the updated Bike Plan.

Our analysis of candidates were based not only on survey responses but also on incumbents’ history of support of active transportation issues, conversations with candidates, and public candidate forums.

Bike Walk Oak Park does not endorse candidates, but we rank each candidate according to their level of knowledge and support for biking/pedestrian/transit issues. We were pleased to see that the majority of candidates are supportive of these issues with no candidates demonstrating negative views or statements. We encourage you to read through the surveys themselves (linked below) to help guide your decisions on Oak Park’s 2025 municipal election.
